Best Time to Visit
Due to the popularity of the Holy Church of the Sepulchre, it can be crowded. To avoid the crowds, the best time to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is early in the morning or later in the evening.
Tour groups typically visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre during the late morning to early afternoon. This is when you’ll find the longest lines to enter the church.
What to Wear
Dress modestly when visiting the Church of the Holy Sepulchre out of respect for its religious significance.
Both men and women should wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. Avoid shorts, tank tops, and revealing outfits. Comfortable shoes are also recommended, as the church has uneven stone floors. A light scarf or shawl can be useful for added coverage if needed.
